Men's Campout 2026

Join us for a campout designed for men and young men!

This weekend is meant to be relaxed, allowing you plenty of free time to enjoy yourself. The event will be held at Buttle Lake in the Driftwood Bay Group Site.

 Event Details:

 - Cost: $35 for adults; $15 for kids and youth.

Requirements: 

- Please bring your own camping gear, food, and accommodation (options include a tent, trailer, RV, or camper).  

Facilities: 

- There are no modern services available, but there are outhouses and a well for water.

- A boat launch is available for use.

Activities:

Enjoy great opportunities for hiking, boating, and fishing. Nearby attractions include Myra Falls and Upana Caves. Feel free to bring your water toys, fishing gear, mountain bikes, and any other equipment you might need to have a fantastic time! 
There will be a Fishing Derby with PRIZES!

Getting There:
Buttle Lake: The main access to Strathcona Park is via Highway 28, which connects with Gold River on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Follow Hwy 19 north past Courtenay to Campbell River, then follow Hwy 28 west for 48km. Hwy 28 passes through the northern section of the park and provides access to Buttle Lake. Gas and services are not available between Campbell River and Gold River.
